Services We Provide
Countertops
The kitchen is typically the most popular room in your home, and a fabulous countertop can take center stage in that room. When deciding on a countertop, you will have to think about things like what type of countertop will complement the look of your home, the level of durability you need in your countertop, and your budget. It is important to note that while you should absolutely consider durability, durability is not synonymous with dull. At Countertops and Cabinetry by Design, we offer a large number of surfaces and styles for you to choose from, including the following:
Granite Countertops
Granite can add a look of splendor to your home, as well as a hefty property value increase. In short, granite countertops can bring maximum returns on your investment. Each piece of granite is cut from the ground, so there are always variations in texture, consistency and color—meaning your granite countertop will be absolutely unique. You will be able to choose from cream colors, gold colors, almond colors, black and many other colors. Once the granite slabs are delivered to our warehouse, the newly polished slab is worked by machine and by hand. In fact, at Countertops and Cabinetry by Design we employ some of the most skilled professionals in the industry, who work hard to ensure you receive a high-quality granite countertop. You will hand-select your granite slab, and after your kitchen template is finalized, we will rough-cut your granite slab into more manageable sizes, then using our state-of-the-art CNC machine, we will cut the granite to the exact dimensions of your countertop.
Natural Stone Countertops
There are a number of natural stones which are used for countertops, such as marble, soapstone, limestone and Jerusalem stone. While bakers love marble countertops, marble can stain and chip more easily than some other substances. Soapstone is more resistant to cracks than other natural stones, but can dent when struck with a hard object (although some people feel such dents result in a “stressed” look, which they find quite attractive). Jerusalem stone looks like limestone, but is as durable as granite.
Quartz Countertops
Your bathroom or kitchen vision can be brought to life through elegant quartz slab countertops. At Countertops and Cabinetry by Design, we can help you choose the perfect quartz slab for your countertop. If you happen to love the look and feel of granite, but don’t want the upkeep, quartz could be an excellent option for you. In fact, some believe quartz is the best of all worlds—non-porous, like Corian, yet bringing strength, durability and style to the table. Quartz is manufactured from 97 percent quartz particulate and 3 percent binders and fillers. There are a wide variety of quartz colors, textures and patterns to choose from.
Solid Surface Countertops
A solid-surface countertop is a more budget-friendly choice. These surfaces are constructed of acrylic and polyester blends. Countertops and Cabinetry by Design offers more than 110 colors and textures, as well as dozens of edge profiles in solid surface countertops, making the possibilities almost endless. Solid surface countertops are non-porous, making them resistant to stains, and excellent for food preparation and they can be formed into virtually any shape or size.
